To eat dessert/herbal tea/sweets..must try Tong Chiu
Tong Chiu in Indah (Many shops are also located in Indah)
They have ALOT of dessert (should i call it dessert?it's manisan/tong sui)
tong sui => direct translation to 'sugar water'. the chinese for desserts.
Can even open the fridge yourself and grab a few then pay for it. and since they come in disposable plastic containers, u can just take them home straight. of course after paying for them. plastic spoons are available too =)
They serve hot or cold tong sui but i prefer them cold wahaha (to avoid heat stroke/jung shuu again haha)
These are my regular tong sui - except the orangy one..first time trying but not too bad tho..
^From bottom to top - Black Sesame/Hak Ji Ma Wu, Peanut/Fa Sang Wu, Pumpkin/Gam Gua ??? (I am TERRIBLE at translating, we'll wait for agent orange to do the job haha)
A closer look at Black Sesame Wu
It's at average RM2.50 a small bowl for these Wu-s
orange's addition
dessert shop!! haha.. personal favourite from this shop goes to ==> fu zhuk tong sui
made up of 'fu zhuk'(bean curd sheets), barly seeds and lotus seed(pak goh) boil till soft. Is watery (not paste like) and has the 'cooling' effect effect as well. served cold. sweet in taste quite healthy too. btw.. the word 'wu' literally means 'paste' so... for the 3 desserts will be... black sessame 'paste', peanut 'paste' and pumkin 'paste'. despite the name 'paste' the texture is creamy and soft. other recomendations honeydew sago (sai mei lou)
