Taiwan Tasty Food House

Located at the new block in Indah Mile 4

Right next to Chocolate Rain

If you come here to eat you must try their Beef Noodle (Mee Soup) but unfortunately my timing is not right T_T..so i cant give you all a review on it because i havent tried it before

Got to try it yesterday

Sorry for the blurry pic, my cam gave up on me

But the bowl is HUGE haha, they even have a fancy big wooden spoon

Taste wise, it's okay..

But they have other variety of rice, noodles, meehoon...etc etc which are not bad either

Nice furniture, fully aircon-ed wuaaa

Dissapointed for not being able to eat Beef Noodle, we ordered something beef-related:

Ginger & Spring Onion Beef Rice/ Giong Chung Ngau Yuk Fan

Beef Sauce Fried Noodle

The food taste nice (except for the taugeh part < style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);">orange's addition
taiwan tasty food, is considered a new restaurant in sandakan. open about 2 years ago and doing good. if i wasn't wrong, i had green apple chicken rice before here. was kinda ok i think. fried pieces of chicken with green apple sauce, serve with white rice. obviously the sauce will makes the rice green in color. fragrence of green apple couple with its sweet and sour taste of erm.... a green apple is quite unique i guess. worth a try.

Dolphin Ice Cream

Located inside Pasar Kim Fung right beside the aromatic fish market

They have Mango or Vanilla Ice cream - Rm2.00 per cone

They have less smooth and creamy ice cream compared to bigger cafes like 7Heaven but if you are looking for something cheaper and worthy for the taste then this is the place! (And after that you can even eat your ice cream while walking around the market buying veges, fruits, kuih, lo bak kou, yau char kuey, pisang goreng, wo tet, teh c ping, agsdyufiaihfagjkhgtrt)

Suddenly i wanted to try the Mango one, eventhough i love vanilla alot

TADA!

Kopitiam

Located at Mile 4, Kim Fung side not Indah

Kopitiam

Famous for bread - roti kahwin

We had roti kahwin with kaya and a chunk of melting butter (uwaaa fattening but nice!)

Alternatively you can have cheese bread roti kahwin - Exactly the same as the one above but they use bread with cheese on top

Snack them with a cup of Kopi C Ping...wuaaa

(****Next time remember to order it kurang manis/less sugar)

orange's addition
good one em, i must agree this roti kahwin is really nice. i had been eating it since the shop open through out my final few years of high school. and also when i was working part time in that area. the cheese stick, slice open in half, with the addition of thick piece of butter(mention above) and its kaya, sure makes one's mouth watery. i can't help imagining the wonderful feel of sinking my teeth into a roti kahwin now... *craving*~. the shop is situated right at the corner of a block of shops. so at times, u can see cars stopping right in the center of the road and see passengers dashing out of the car to get their buns from the shop. as said, its popular with their roti kahwin only, so there is not much other food for sale.

So lucky to have freshly baked hot egg tarts from the oven

Cheese Tart

Pretty tasty but...

rm1.20 each (Zomg, ok i was just being stingy haha)

Egg Tart..and a very hot one too

(my pain receptors suffered for this beautiful pic)

This worth rm1.20 also (Ignore the ugly teeth bitting marks KEKE)

I..think the filling is too soft..it lack abit 'hau gem' but the pastry is crunchy tho haha

Kedai Makan Kong Teck

Located at the row of shops you see when you turn into Taman Pak Tak - Mile 7

Came here the third time then i can finally see the shop open

UNFORTUNATELY their fish mee is out of stock - i was too late i guess

But i got to try their Prawn Mee

The prawn taste is not as strong as the one in town

Came back on the next day to try the fish mee - dapau only
(10.30am but there were 2 bowls left only!! - People should start calling this Limited Edition Fish Mee)

As you see the mee is made out of Fish Ball kind of fish (how do you put it in english?)..
I prefer eating normal mee but it was interesting to try haha
