Imperial Bayview Restaurant (Dim Sum)

Located in town smacked right above the aromatic fish market, is the Halal Dim Sum restaurant..Halal by means, no pork-ish dim sum..just chicken and lots of fresh prawns as compensation..

Fish Market, here you can see all the behind-the-scene work while you eat

And also the beautiful sea(?) but no worries, there is no fishy smell in the restaurant itself

THE Dim Sum - Siew Mai

Just chicken and prawn but it's fine

Steamed Seafood Dumpling

Har Gao

The prawns..indeed very fresh tho

Steamed Spinach Dumpling

This is nice too, at least it is not all prawns

But at this point I am already sick of all the prawns ^^;;

Stir Fried Carrot Cake

Not too bad for restaurant's standard but still far away from the one in Mile4 Market

Chicken 'Char Siew' Cheong Fen

The lady asked what kind of filling do I want, honestly I nearly blurted out Char Siew ^^;;
And honestly without pork char siew this is just wrong to me..Didn't like this at all..

Chicken Ham Sui Kok

Not a big fan of it

Deep Fried Prawn Dumpling

This I like..

Chicken Wu Kok

This is also very wrong without Char Siew

And look at all of them, without pork they all just look and taste pale..
The only-prawn dishes are not bad tho, but I can get sick of prawns pretty fast so....
Sigh~

I'd rather go Sandakan Hotel in this case

in my memories, the service of this restaurant is so-so only...and the food also so-so...overpriced.
